Addressing social ills by building
character in the next generation
Our teaching strategy
KNOWING
Through discussing the elements of a story, students are helped to discover on their own the objective good that is at stake in the narrative, and how feelings and emotions are engaged.
ACCEPTING
Leaning on the narrative, the teacher helps the students to connect personally with the concept known in order to motivate an understanding and acceptance of the values and virtues that are at stake
DOING
Students consider how the lessons of the story apply in their daily lives.
